Tomasz Warchoł, President of the Management Board of “Koleje Małopolskie”

Tomasz Warchoł graduated in law and European integration studies with an economic profile at the Jagiellonian University. He has the professional title of a railway transport technician. In the years 2019-2020, the director of the Department of Transport and Communication at the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region. Previously, for almost 10 years, he was associated with the Ministry of Transport, where he held, inter alia, the function of deputy director. He was responsible for the development of draft laws and regulations in the field of railways. He performed tasks in the field of corporate supervision over companies from the PKP Group. He participated in the works of committees and working groups at the European Commission. He represented Poland before the Court of Justice of the European Union in cases related to railways. He also worked in the Transport Technical Supervision. He cooperated with the Polish Center for Accreditation as an auditor for risk assessment units in rail transport. Co-author of the first commentary on the Polish publishing market to the act on rail transport.
