Representative of the new wave of Polish chefs. Raised by Kurt Scheller, he gained experience and developed during his travels around Europe. He is a culinary cosmopolitan, passionate about tradition and local products. He was the first in Silesia to be recommended by Slow Food Polska.
In the yellow “Gault & Millau” guide, his restaurant Mañana received two caps, and Przemysław Błaszczyk received the title of “Boss of Tomorrow” in southern Poland.
He reached the final of the second edition of the “Top Chef” Polska program and won internship in the Spanish restaurant Arzak, which has three Michelin stars. For the last 9 years he has been the chef of the proprietary Mańana Bistro & Wine Bar. In addition, he is the patron of the kitchen at Cooler Food in Katowice and the good spirit of Sezo’novo, a summer gastronomic concept in the Katowice park, which he co-creates with two friends. From 2020, he is the chef of Miele Polska for southern Poland.
He conducts culinary workshops, advises and helps to open restaurants. Together with Kasia Rogowska, he established a collective called “Szychy na szychcie” in Silesia, which is fulfilling its charity work.
