Michał Góras, Councilor of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, vice-chairman of the culture and national heritage committee at the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Assembly

Michał Góras, an experienced manager, has for many years been associated with the area of ​​culture, national heritage and promotion. In recent years, he was the head of the office of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, prof. Piotr Gliński. Representative of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the Council of the Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek and in the Council of the Regional Museum in Siedlce. An expert of the governmental program Niepodległa and a member of the Steering Team of the “Accessible Culture” program. He was also associated with the Ministry of Culture in 2006-2007, and in the following years he also worked at the National Center for Culture. He managed a local government institution responsible for the promotion and acquisition of European funds. A graduate of the Executive MBA studies at the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He graduated in political science – specialization in European Integration, Studium Generale Europa at the Faculty of History and Social Sciences of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. A graduate of postgraduate studies in Public Relations and postgraduate studies for Managers of Local Government at the Warsaw School of Economics. He has extensive experience in local government work. Currently, he is a councilor of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, vice-chairman of the culture and national heritage committee in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Assembly. Previously, a councilor of the Minsk poviat and twice a councilor of the city of Mińsk Mazowiecki.
