Marcin Mączyński, General Secretary of the Polish Hotel Industry Chamber of Commerce

A graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. Since 2016, he has been the  general secretary and a member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce of the Polish Hotel Industry, the largest economic self-government organization in the hotel industry. From 2020, he actively participates in the work of the #TUgether Meetings and Events Industry Council, of which IGHP is a founding member.

In the years 2007 – 2013 he worked in the Gromada hotel chain, where he was director of the central sales and marketing office and director of the hotel office. In the years 2014 – 2016, he held managerial positions in the Trip Group. For many years he has been active in local government organizations in the hotel and tourism sector. In 2014, he was elected to the Council of the Chamber of Commerce of the Polish Hotel Industry. He was also the vice-president of the board of the IATA Agents’ Association in Poland and the chairman of the IATA Committee at the Polish Chamber of Tourism, as well as a member of the PIT Program Council. He is a member of the Committee for Cooperation with the Polish Diaspora of the Polish Olympic Committee. During the crisis caused by the coronavirus, he actively participated in the work of industry teams on optimal support solutions for hoteliers.
