Krzysztof Kozik, Member of the Polish Parliament

Former member of the management board of Holding KW, currently an MP from Law and Justice. He was born in 1970 in Chrzanów. He is a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology. Since 1988, he has been professionally associated with ZG Janina in Libiąż. Higher education, graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, mining engineer. In addition, he completed postgraduate MBA studies in management organized by the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2007, after passing the exam at the Ministry of Treasury, he has been authorized to sit on supervisory boards of State Treasury companies. Professionally associated with the Janina mine, currently operating within the structures of Tauron Wydobycie, in the years 2007-2008 a member of the Supervisory Board of Południowy Koncern Węglowy SA. From May 2016 to August 2016, a delegate from the Supervisory Board served as vice-president of the management board of Kompania Węglowa SA, from August 2016 to June 2017, vice-president of the management board of Kompania Węglowa SA. After the successful division of KW SA, he was a member of the Management Board of Holding KW sp.z o.o. based on the assets of the divided Kompania Węglowa SA. From June 2019, he is a member of the Sejm of the 8th term, replacing Beata Szydło, who joined the European Parliament. Since 2006, he has been a councilor of the Chrzanów poviat council. During this period, in 2006-2010 and in 2014 – still a member of the poviat board. Member of the 8th term of office from VI 2019 and currently of the 9th term. He works in many parliamentary committees, including ECOC Commission (energy, climate, state assets) and the Team for the implementation of hydrogen technologies. Interests: politics and socio-economic issues. He has a sailor’s license, likes to spend time sailing and playing chess. Married with two children.
