Janusz Michałek, President of the KSEZ S.A
An expert in the field of strategic consulting, public investments, environmental management, restructuring of public infrastructure and in the area of the functioning of EU programs. A graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology Stanisław Staszic in Cracow at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics and postgraduate studies at the Cracow Tadeusz Kościuszki University of Technology, as well as in the field of MBA at the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza. He graduated from the University of Silesia in Katowice with a doctoral degree.
He is a member of, among others National Development Council at the President of the Republic of Poland, member of the Machine Building Committee at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, chairman of the Council of the Silesian Competence Center of Industry 4.0, chairman of the Program Council of the SA&AM KSEZ Cluster, chairman of the Energy Cluster Management Committee “Żywiecka future energy”, vice-chairman of the Competence Council in the automotive sector (with including electromobility), a member of the Council of the Polish-German Center for Hybrid Light Structures and the Steering Committee “Silesia Program” at the Silesian Voivode, as well as the University Council of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and the chairman of the Local Action Group Council of the Żywiecki Raj LAG.
Regional Ambassador of the Silesian Voivodeship during the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai, as well as the Vice-Chairman of the Silesian Council for Work Safety at the District Labor Inspectorate in Katowice.
His passion is social and political communication, European projects, issues related to the development of local government, ecology and sustainable energy. He has also been active socially for years. He is a member of the Nostra Res Association of Christian Entrepreneurs and Managers from Katowice, as well as a member of the Experts Council of the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza and the vice-president of the Pro Silesia association and the board of the Family in the Service of Man Foundation.
