Dr Witold Choiński, President of the Management Board – Polish Meat Union

In 2018, he obtained a PhD in agricultural sciences at the Faculty of Human Nutrition and Consumption of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. In 2016, he obtained an MBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) diploma at the French Institute of Management in Warsaw. In 1996 he obtained the title of M.Sc. Agriculture with a specialization in Agricultural Environment Protection at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. In the years 1998-2001, he participated in doctoral studies at the Warsaw School of Economics at the College of Management and Finance. He also studied at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at the University of Warsaw. He has been the president of the association since 2005. Previously, for many years he worked as a journalist in the information department in Puls Biznesu and the PLON weekly. He is the author of many publications in defense of the Polish food business, as well as didactics and defense of the Polish countryside. He is active in many non-governmental organizations for the food sector, agriculture development and entrepreneurship. It works actively to defend the Polish brand as well as the development and dissemination of knowledge about local and regional products. He actively works for the meat industry, especially its consolidation, cohesion and the sector’s position in the food industry.
