Paweł Poneta (PhD Eng.) Currently employed as the Executive Director for Research and Innovation at TAURON Polska Energia S.A., the parent company of the TAURON Group. In the Group, he is responsible for setting directions for the development of research and innovation activities, budget management and implementation. Paweł Poneta has been associated with the research and innovation sector from the beginning of his professional career. He has extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of construction, construction, new materials, energy and ICT, and is a specialist in the field of funding sources for research and development. In his career, he has been involved in over 50 research, development and innovative projects and programs, both domestic and international. In the TAURON Group, he also manages the Open Innovation area, where, inter alia, all kinds of projects are carried out at the interface between corporations and startups.
