Regulations of the event “European Future Forum”
- 1. General provisions
- The Regulations of the event, hereinafter referred to as the Regulations, define the terms and conditions of participation in the European Future Forum.
- The terms used in the Regulations should be understood as:
- Forum: European Future Forum;
- Organizer: Śląski Fundusz Rozwoju Sp. z o.o. with headquarters in Katowice at Żeliwna 38 street, NIP: 6342972979;
- Registered Participant – a person participating in the Forum;
- Place and time of the Forum – October 6-8, 2021. Silesian Stadium in Chorzów
- The following events will take place as part of the Forum:
- plenary sessions;
- panel debates;
- program blocks: report presentations, lectures, talks;
- galas;
- for accompanying events
- The provisions of these Regulations constitute an integral part of the rules of the user registration process to participate in the event and apply to all registered participants of the event. A detailed description of the registration process is specified in the Registration Regulations.

- 2. Rules of participation
- The condition for participation in the Forum is the registration of a given person through the application form provided to the Organizer via the on-line registration system or in a different way specified by the Organizer in the Registration Regulations. In the case of paid participation, the condition for participation or obtaining additional services related to it, in addition to registration, will be the payment of the appropriate fee.
- The Organizer specifies in the application form, order or otherwise, the requirements and data of the Participant necessary to register during the Forum, acquire the right to participate in the Forum or to use specific services. The organizer may refuse registration or make the registration of a given person conditional on additional verification.
- In the event of registration on behalf of another person and entering someone else’s data, the person entering the data guarantees that he has obtained the appropriate authorization. In the case of registration for more than one person, the registering person should make separate applications for each of them with a separate contact / e-mail address for each person registered at the Forum. The Participant’s data collected during registration will be in accordance with the Privacy Policy posted on the event website www.efp-silesia.pl.
- 3. The rights and obligations of the Organizer and Participants
- The Organizer provides the Participant with access to the appropriate parts of the facility where the Forum is taking place and the form of participation and contact with participants appropriate to the nature of the event.
- Due to the need to ensure the safety and comfort of the Participants, the Organizer reserves the right to control and verify the Participant’s identity and his rights to enter the facility or services related to the Forum, and the Participants agree to this.

- The Organizer accepts that the Participant participating in the Forum accepts the possibility of recording and using his / her profile or image as a Forum participant as indicated above.
- 4. Exhibitors
- The right to participate in the Forum as an exhibitor and to reserve the appropriate space is acquired on the basis of an appropriate order / order for services related to the Forum. The Exhibitor is a Participant with the right to use a specific area of the facility or lecture time for their own information or marketing purposes.
- The Organizer decides about the location of the exhibition space. Brands, advertising materials, items and the way they are displayed within the time or exhibition space require the Organiser’s approval in terms of their compliance with the character of the Forum, the condition for the rental of facilities and the adopted aesthetic and technical standards.
- The exhibitor adapts the surface in an aesthetic and complete manner, according to the character of the Forum and the properties of the facility. In the event of any deficiencies in this respect, the Organizer is entitled to make appropriate changes at the exhibitor’s expense. The conditions and period of providing utilities for a given space require separate arrangements with the Organizer.
- Providing the time or exhibition space to other entities requires the Organiser’s consent
- The Exhibitor undertakes to perform the necessary assemblies, adaptations and disassemblies within the time limits set by the Organizer and the manager of the facilities where the Forum will be held, but not exceeding the period indicated in the Organizer’s recommendation. In particular, assemblies and adaptations must not interfere with the preparations of the Organizer or other Participants and must be completed before the beginning of the Forum, and disassembly must take place by the end of the last day of Participant’s participation as an exhibitor of the Forum.
- The Exhibitor is obliged to return the exhibition space to the Organizer in the condition in which it was made available to him. The Exhibitor is responsible on the basis of risk for damages and other damages related to the use of a given space. The organizer is obliged to remove dirt, objects and damages at the expense and risk of the exhibitor.
- 5. General rules
- Participants may move around the premises of the facilities only within generally accessible and marked spaces and communication routes, in accordance with the instructions of the organizer and the facility manager.
- Forum participants may participate in the Forum openly and personally, in particular, they may not assign rights or some rights related to registration or services under the Event to other people or transfer ID cards or tickets to other people.
- The following prohibitions apply on the premises of the facility: smoking, using electronic cigarettes and drinking alcohol, blocking communication and evacuation routes, using open fire, gas cylinders, using makeshift electrical installations, bringing chemical substances to the exhibition area, bringing weapons, pyrotechnic materials and other hazardous materials. Violation of any of the prohibitions entitles the Organizer to deprive the person violating the prohibition of the Participant status.
- The organizer is not responsible for securing people and property.
- 6. Rules of conduct in connection with the current state of the epidemic
- In connection with the state of the epidemic announced on the territory of the Republic of Poland from March 20, 2020 in connection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, the Forum Participant is obliged to apply the applicable regulations and guidelines of the relevant services during the Forum, in particular: Council Regulation Ministers on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and bans in connection with the epidemic of May 6, 2021 (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 861), Regulation of the Minister of Health of March 20, 2020 on the announcement of in the territory of the Republic of Poland, the state of epidemic (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 491), guidelines of the Chief Sanitary Inspector. Participants may move around the premises of the facilities only in public and marked spaces and communication routes, in accordance with the instructions of the Organizer and the facility manager.
- By registering at the Forum, the Participant acknowledges and accepts the fact that participation in the Forum means the Participant’s potential arrival among a significant number of people, which in turn creates the possibility of spreading and exposing the Participant to alienation, in particular viruses causing diseases, including SARS virus. CoV-2, microorganisms or bacteria. Due to the above risk, the Organizer provides the Participants with safety measures during the Forum indicated by adequate services and the presence of doctors, but this does not eliminate the risk of negative health consequences, which are the risk of the Participant.
- By registering at the Forum, the Participant agrees to transfer his personal data indicated in the registration form to the relevant services, in particular sanitary services. The consent is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the Forum. The participant also acknowledges that he or she may be subjected to a temperature measurement and health check.
- The participant is obliged to follow the procedure indicated below:
- In the event of disturbing health symptoms at the Participant, e.g. such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or breathing problems before entering the Silesian Stadium, the Participant should not enter the Silesian Stadium, should stay in his home or hotel where he stays, he should follow the orders of the Chief Sanitary Inspector and the Minister of Health and immediately contact a doctor or poviat sanitary and epidemiological station, infectious ward, and in the event of deterioration of health, call 999 or 112 and inform about the symptoms of the disease.
- In the event of disturbing health symptoms at the Participant, e.g. such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or breathing problems during the Forum and the Participant’s stay at the Silesian Stadium, he should immediately go to the Forum medical point and inform the doctors about the observed symptoms and then follow the instructions of the medical or sanitary services.
- On the premises of the Silesian Stadium, the Participant is obliged to use personal protective equipment – masks, disinfectant, etc. throughout the duration of the Forum, also during discussion panels, according to the guidelines valid on the day of the Forum.
- 7. Final provisions and complaints
- The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, shorten, change the date or schedule of the Forum in the event of force majeure making it impossible to conduct the Forum or in the event of a threat to the life or health of the Participants. In the above cases, the Organizer shall not be liable for damages to the Participants resulting from the cancellation or change of the dates of the Forum, including costs related to transport or hotel reservations; in such a case, it is not obliged to reimburse already paid fees and remuneration for bookings of packages, places or other services.
- Any complaints related to the exercise of the Participants’ rights related to participation in the Forum may be submitted to the Organizer in writing or via e-mail to the address kontakt@efp-silesia.pl within 3 days from the occurrence of the circumstances being the cause of the complaint.
- Any changes to the Regulations will be announced on the official website of the Forum.
