We are pleased to inform you that Mr. Joydeep Roy from the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Calcutta, India has confirmed his participation in the European Future Forum.
Mr. Joydeep Roy will take part and be a speaker in the session entitled “Regional dimension of entrepreneurship: cooperation in international markets”, which will take place on the 7th of October, 2021, on the second day of our event.
Since 2006, he has been the Chief Consular Officer of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Calcutta, India, whose aim is to promote, develop and strengthen relations between Poland and West Bengal (India).
Through the Honorary Consulate, Mr. Joydeep Roy organizes, coordinates and supports all Polish Business Missions, Ministerial Delegations, visits of the Polish Ambassadors to India and other Officials of the Polish Embassy in New Delhi.
To ensure a constant level of involvement during this pandemic, he organized several important Webinars with the participation of various Polish diplomats, experts from Poland and India.

The Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, Jakub Chełstowski, in an interview for Dziennik Zachodni, once again emphasized the European Future Forum.
The European Future Forum is a new event in the calendar of the largest socio-economic events in Poland, which will be held in the region for the first time. The organizer is the Silesian Development Fund.
The event will take place in the modern conference space of Silesian Stadion. The European Future Forum is three days of debates in five stadium spaces, including one completely new.
The European Future Forum is an event of great importance, deserving a setting of the highest quality. Therefore, we are especially pleased to announce that the artistic setting of our event will be provided by the Silesian Big Band from the Entertainment Theater in Chorzów, which is made up of musicians under the leadership of the outstanding trombonist, composer and conductor, Grzegorz Nagórski.
Their repertoire includes compositions by well-known and recognized artists as well as classical jazz artists. All compositions are presented with professionalism and passion, and the masterful performance of each concert gives the recipients an unforgettable experience.
Silesian Big Band is a new group of the Entertainment Theater. The artistic director of this outstanding group of musicians is Grzegorz Nagórski – an outstanding musician, composer, teacher, trombonist recognized in Poland and in the world. He has recorded dozens of recorded albums, countless concert tours in Poland and abroad, and since 1996 he has regularly been ranked first in the JAZZ TOP polls of “Jazz Forum” magazine in the “best Polish jazz trombonist” category. He is a professor of musical arts, lecturer at the Academy of Music in Katowice.
Grzegorz Nagórski gathered extremely talented and experienced musicians in Silesian Big Band, mostly graduates of the legendary “5th Department” (currently the Jazz and Popular Music Department of the Academy of Music in Katowice). Awarded at international competitions, participating in prestigious jazz festivals, recording albums important in the jazz community – these are the members of this orchestra.
It is worth mentioning the names, because they are a brand in themselves. The saxophone section consists of: Daniel Bober, Jarosław Bothur, Grzegorz Czucha, Dawid Główczewski and Marcin Żupański. The trumpeters are: Krzysztof Bukowski, Sławomir Firut, Klaudiusz Kłosek and Paweł Siembieda. The trombones are played by: Piotr Krawczyk, Jakub Moroń, Karol Pistelok and Sebastian Wieczorek, and the rhythm section includes: Michał Dziewiński (drums), Bogusław Kaczmar (piano), Michał Kapczuk (double bass, bass guitar) and Mateusz Szczypka (guitar).

Is the Silesian Voivodeship a different place today from the one we know from 20 or 30 years ago?
It cannot be hidden. Today it is a region of dynamic changes, built on the basis of innovation and a modern economy, but at the same time with strong foundations and prospects for further development.

The main objective of the seminars will be to establish economic contacts and present Polish experiences and potential in four areas – green technologies, the space and aviation industry, intelligent solutions for cities, and the medical and pharmaceutical industries. The open qualification for the National Esport Team in PES 2021 is underway!
This year, everyone can become the face of an international project and represent Poland at foreign tournaments. Registration for the elimination in PES 2021 has started and ended with the November finals in Israel. Try your hand and join the NDE!
The winners of both qualifying rounds will play against the NDE representatives from previous years – the winner of the 1st round will play against the IESF 2019 national team, and the 2nd round winner will play against the IESF 2020. The winners of these matches will play a match between themselves to join the NDE team in 2021 and represent Poland at the World Cup.
The National Team of Esport, a project initiated in April 2019 by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, is one of the first official e-sports national teams in Europe, and the creation of the project is a response to the needs of the players themselves.
Changes in the public space have a positive impact on the perception of cities and the entire Silesian Voivodeship. It is the public space that will be the subject of many discussions during the third day of the European Future Forum.

As every year, residents choose their favorites during the audience plebiscite.
